3 Quick Steps
Stop the Damage Now
Before you do anything else, do these three things. They can save you thousands in repairs.
1. Turn off main water valve
It is usually near your water meter or at the front of the house. Turn the tap clockwise until it stops. This stops more water from flooding in.
2. Turn off the power
If water is near plugs, lights, or your geyser, switch off the main breaker on your DB board. Water and electricity can kill. Do not touch anything wet.
3. Call or WhatsApp us
We will tell you what to do next while we are on our way. Don’t try to fix it yourself if it’s severe.
What Counts as a Plumbing Emergency?
Burst pipe flooding a room, yard, or ceiling
Geyser burst with hot water coming through the ceiling
Toilet overflowing and not stopping
Sewage backing up into the house, shower, or yard
No hot water before a wedding, event, or early flight
No water at all from a borehole or council supply
Borehole pump tripping or making strange sounds
Major leak under a slab, behind a wall, or in the ceiling
Stormwater flooding the house from blocked drains
Geyser leaking near plug points or the DB board
Rule of thumb: If it can flood, electrocute, or stop you using the bathroom, it is an emergency. Call us.
While You Wait, How to Reduce Damage
We will be there fast. Here is what to do in the meantime, based on your emergency.
Burst Pipe or Major Leak
- Turn off the main water valve.
- Open all cold taps in the house. This drains the pipes faster and reduces pressure.
- Move furniture, rugs, and electronics away from the water.
- Use buckets or towels to catch dripping water.
- Take photos. You may need them for insurance.
Burst Geyser (Water Coming Through Ceiling)
- Switch off the geyser at the DB board first. Geysers can burst because of electrical faults.
- Turn off the main water valve. This stops more water from filling the tank.
- Open the hot tap nearest the geyser. This drains the tank slowly.
- Move anything valuable from under the ceiling drip.
- Do not poke or cut the ceiling. Let us drain it safely when we arrive.
Toilet Overflowing
Our team works for us. We don’t pass your job to a stranger. The plumber who quotes you is the plumber who shows up.
- Take the lid off the cistern. Push the rubber flap down to stop the water.
- Turn off the small tap behind the toilet (the isolation valve).
- Do not flush again. Each flush adds more water.
- Use a plunger if you have one. If not, leave it for us.
Sewage Backing Up
- Stop using all water in the house. No showers, no flushing, no washing.
- Keep children and pets away.
- Open a window in the affected room.
- Do not pour drain cleaner. It can make things worse for our team to fix.
No Water at All
- Check if your neighbours have water. If not, it is likely a council cut.
- Check your JoJo tank level if you have one.
- If you have a borehole, listen for the pump. No sound = pump issue. Loud sound = could be running dry.
- Call us. We carry spare pumps and pressure switches.

Why We Are the Plumber to Call at Night
Plenty of plumbers say they are 24/7. Few actually answer the phone after 10 pm. Here is why we do.
Fully Stocked Emergency Vans
Our vans carry spare geysers, common pipe sizes, pumps, valves, and fittings. We fix most jobs on the first visit. No ‘we will come back tomorrow with the part’.
Real Plumbers on Call
Not a call centre. Not a stranger sub-contracted at midnight. The plumber who answers the phone is the plumber who comes to your house.
Based in Harare
We live here. We know which suburbs are on borehole, which streets flood, and which areas the council water cuts hit hardest.
Fixed Quote Before Work Starts
You see the price in writing before we open a single tool. No ‘the bill grew while you slept’ stories.
Pay How You Want
USD cash, EcoCash, Innbucks, ZIPIT, or bank transfer. Pay after the job is done and tested.
3-Month Workmanship Guarantee
If our fix fails within 3 months, we come back free of charge. In writing.
Emergency Plumbing FAQ
Are you really open 24 hours?
Yes. Our emergency line is answered by a real plumber, every hour of every day, including Christmas. If we are on another job, we call you back within 10 minutes.
How fast can you really get here?
For most northern and central Harare suburbs, 30 to 60 minutes during the day. After hours, allow up to 90 minutes for the further-out suburbs like Chitungwiza or Norton.
Do you charge extra for after-hours callouts?
A small call-out fee applies after 6 pm, on Sundays, and on public holidays. We tell you the exact fee on the phone before we drive out. There are no hidden surcharges added at the end.
What if I can’t pay right now?
You can pay when the job is done. We accept USD cash, EcoCash, Innbucks, ZIPIT, and bank transfer. For very large jobs, we offer a 50% deposit with the balance due upon completion.
Can you fix it on the first visit?
For about 9 out of 10 emergencies, yes. Our vans carry the most common parts: geysers, pipe fittings, pumps, valves, and toilet hardware. If we need a special part, we will explain why and provide a quote for a return visit.
Do you work on boreholes at night?
Yes. Borehole pump failures are one of our most common night callouts in Harare. We carry spare submersible pumps and pressure switches in our vans.
Can I just send you a photo on WhatsApp?
Yes, please do. A photo helps us bring the right parts. WhatsApp us a photo and tell us your suburb. We will reply with what to do next and how soon we can be there.
What if it’s not really an emergency?
We will tell you honestly. If your problem can safely wait until morning, we will say so and book you in at the start of the next day. We will never trick you into a midnight callout you didn’t need.
Don’t Wait. Every Minute Counts.
Water damage gets worse the longer you wait. Sewage backups get harder to clean. A burst geyser dripping through a ceiling at 1am is a $500 ceiling repair by 6am.
