Like-for-Like Toilet Replacement
Your old toilet is tired, cracked, or no longer makes sense to repair. We remove the old unit, fit the new one in the same spot, replace the wax seal, connect water, and test. Usually done in 2 to 3 hours.

You want something more modern. We help you choose among close-coupled, concealed in-wall, and wall-hung options. We adjust plumbing as needed and finish to a clean standard.
New Build Toilet Rough-In and Install

Close-Coupled Toilet
The cistern sits directly on top of the bowl as one unit. The most common type in Harare homes.
Best for:
Most family bathrooms, replacements, rentals, and budget builds.
Pros:
Cheapest to buy, easiest to repair, parts available everywhere.
Consider:
Less modern look. Visible cistern.
Concealed In-Wall Cistern
The cistern is hidden inside the wall behind a frame. Only a flush plate shows on the wall. The pan can be floor-mounted or wall-hung.
Best for:
Modern renovations, premium en-suites, smaller bathrooms (looks bigger).
Pros:
Sleek modern look. Easier to clean (no cistern surfaces collecting dust). Quieter flush.
Consider:
Higher install cost, needs a strong wall, future repairs require opening the access panel.
Low-Level / High-Level Cistern
The cistern is set above the bowl on a pipe — either just above (low-level) or near the ceiling (high-level).
Best for:
Heritage homes, traditional-style bathrooms.
Pros:
Distinctive look. Strong flush from the height.
Consider:
Older style, fewer brands make these now.
Wall-Hung Toilet
The pan is mounted on a wall frame, not the floor. The floor underneath stays clear.
Best for:
Modern minimalist bathrooms, easy-clean bathrooms, accessible design.
Pros:
Looks modern. Easy to mop under. Adjustable height.
Consider:
Needs a concealed in-wall frame to support weight. Highest install cost.
Single Flush vs Dual Flush
Single flush:
One button, full flush every time. Uses about 9 to 13 litres per flush. Older style.
Dual flush:
Two buttons: half flush for liquids, full flush for solids. Uses about 3 to 6 litres per flush. Now standard on most new toilets.
The difference:
A family of four using dual flush instead of single flush saves around 30,000 to 50,000 litres a year, and a noticeable amount on the water bill.

The premium choice, especially for concealed in-wall cisterns. Quiet flush, refined finishes, very long product life. Common in upscale Borrowdale, Mount Pleasant, and Highlands renovations.
Cobra (South Africa)
Reliable mid-range. Good for rentals, body corporates, and commercial installs. Parts easy to source through trade channels.
Local Zimbabwean Brands
Budget option. Found at Halsteds, Builders Express, ZBMS, and similar suppliers. Suitable for low-cost rentals and back-of-house bathrooms.
Speciality Brands and Smart Toilets
We can install bidets, bidet seats, electronic smart toilets, and imported designer brands on request. Smart toilets need a power point — we coordinate with an electrician.

Toilet Installation FAQ
How long does a toilet installation take?
A standard like-for-like replacement takes 2 to 3 hours. A concealed in-wall cistern install takes 4 to 6 hours. A wall-hung install with a new wall frame takes a full day. A toilet addition with new drainage can take 1 to 3 days.
Do you supply the toilet or do I need to buy it?
Either works. We can supply Vitra, Geberit, Cobra, and local-brand toilets at trade pricing. Or you can buy your own from Bathline Zimbabwe, Halsteds, Builders Express, or ZBMS. We give you a spec list of what to look for if you’re buying yourself.
Can I switch from a close-coupled to a concealed in-wall cistern?
Yes. The change usually involves opening a section of wall to build the in-wall frame and cistern, then closing it up neatly. We coordinate the tiling on the affected section. The result is a much cleaner, more modern look.
Can you install a wall-hung toilet on any wall?
Almost any wall — but it needs a strong concealed frame to support 400kg of weight (a person plus the toilet plus water). We install the frame inside the wall first, then attach the pan to it. We never just bolt the pan to plasterboard.
Can you install bidets and smart toilets?
Yes. We install bidets, bidet seats, electronic smart toilets, and Japanese-style washlets. Smart toilets need a power point near the toilet — we coordinate an electrician if needed.
Do you handle the tiling after a concealed cistern install?
We coordinate a trusted tiler to finish the section of wall around the new in-wall cistern. The tiling cost is shown separately on the quote so you see exactly what you’re paying for each trade.
Can you connect a new toilet to my septic tank or borehole?
Yes. We connect new toilets to council sewer, septic tanks, or French drains depending on your property. We also handle pressure-pump setups if your water supply is from a JoJo tank with low gravity feed.
Do you offer instalment payments?
For installations, 50% deposit and 50% on completion. For larger projects (multiple toilets, full bathroom builds), we can split into three payments tied to milestones. We accept USD cash, EcoCash, Innbucks, ZIPIT, and bank transfer.
