ZESA Power Surges
When power comes back after a cut, the surge can fry your geyser element in one second. Many “broken geysers” in Harare are really burnt elements from one bad surge.
Our fix: We replace the element and recommend a geyser surge arrestor. It costs less than another element.
Hard Water Buildup
Harare’s water carries a lot of dissolved minerals. Over time, these build up on the element and the inside of the tank. Your geyser works harder, uses more power, and dies faster.

How long does a geyser repair take?
Most element and thermostat replacements take 1 to 2 hours from arrival to hot water. A full geyser replacement usually takes 3 to 5 hours.
Can you fix my geyser the same day I call?
Yes, in most cases. Call us before noon, and we can almost always be there the same day. Emergencies any time.
Do you supply the parts or do I need to buy them?
We supply all parts. Our vans carry elements, thermostats, valves, and full replacement geysers from major brands. You don’t need to source anything.
How long should a geyser last in Harare?
A well-installed geyser lasts 8 to 12 years. ZESA surges, hard water, and poor pressure valves can cut that short. Regular servicing every 2 years adds years to its life.
What size geyser do I need for my home?
A rough guide: 100L for 2 people, 150L for 3 to 4 people, 200L for 5+ people. Solar systems usually need a bigger tank. We can advise based on your home.
Do you fit surge protection?
Yes. After a ZESA surge takes out your element, we strongly recommend a geyser surge arrestor. It costs a fraction of a new element and protects you from the next surge.
Is it dangerous to use a leaking geyser?
Yes. Water near live electrical wiring is dangerous. Switch the geyser off at the DB board and call us. Do not keep using it.
